  • OneNote – Learn OneNote notebooks to focus on learning how to insert existing documents to allow for students to annotate them, distribute pages to students, create a Teams assignment from a notebook page, embed interactive content like Forms and webpages, and how to use the Collaboration Space effectively to engage your students.
  • Elements of Circles – Learn how to use elements of circles as standalone activities to foster relationships and community building online.
  • Meaningful Learning Tasks in Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning Environments: Use a variety of synchronous and asynchronous learning task to create lessons that capture student’s attention and challenge them in to deepen student learning.
  • Nearpod – Learn how to design a Nearpod lesson including: Inserting a PowerPoint, embedding videos, webpages or documents, and creating interactive activities.
  • Planning for Engagement with Real-Time Tools – Explore how to use real-time engagement tools, such as Microsoft Whiteboard and Microsoft Forms, in the classroom and embed them in my daily lessons.
  • Thinglink – an App that allows students to annotate images and videos.
  • Padlet – an App to put all of your students in one place (including across sections) working in a common workspace for collaboration purposes. It allows you to link up with another classroom or across the globe.
  • Flipgrid – an App similar to Padlet except it’s videos. You may post a question, and students will respond with a short video.

  • National Geographic – investigate world challenges and see what action other are taking.
  • Word Press – World Headline News updated every 15 minutes.
  • CNN Student News – Student-friendly Headline news from around the globe.
  • Kahoot – a game-based learning platform that brings engagement an fun to 1+ billion players at school, work, and home.
